Can't sleep, addicted to the shindig.

Just kidding, the lyrics are "Can't stop, addicted to the shindig" from the song "Can't Stop" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

But really though, I can't sleep. And if there's any shindig I'm addicted to, it's Literati, because, lately, I have been playing that fine Yahoo game quite a bit. Or maybe the shindig is drinking Sunkist, because I'm not going to lie, I love me some Sunkist. Mmmm.

What is Literati? Well, I'm glad you asked. It's basically Yahoo's version of Scrabble. Dan and I usually have a game of it going while we chat via the internet. It's nice to play it online because, well, for one, you can play with someone who is many miles away. Also, if you don't see any words you can do, you can just play around till it takes something. I usually try to look up any words it takes that I don't recognize. So, you could say that it is educational, or, at the very least, more educational than some games I could be playing.

The next topic I must address is Sunkist, which is, in my opinion, the best soda on earth. Seriously. This stuff is great. And, when I say I like, excuse me, LOVE Sunkist, I'm not saying I love orange soda. No, no, no. Not at all. The other orange sodas merely wish they could be as good as Sunkist.

Well, I suppose I should give sleeping another chance.
Farewell, my (few) readers.

To take a summer class or not to take a summer class...

That is the question.

On one hand, it would be a great idea to do so, considering it will be difficult to take all of the classes I need for my major and fit in a minor as well. On the other hand, I really don't want to take a class. I had so much work this past semester, that I just want a break. Besides, I need to get a job, and taking a class could interfere with that.

Another problem with taking a summer class is that I just found out that the only way I can be sure the credits will transfer (since I would be taking the class at a local community college, instead of the college I am currently enrolled in) is if I fill out a form and get it signed by my advisor, the Dean, and the Registrar. Until today, I was under the impression that I just had to find out if the class would count and that was it, and then have my transcript sent over after taking it, like I did for the class I took in high school. Unfortunately, I was wrong. When I talked to my advisor about taking summer classes, she never once mentioned anything about the form I need to fill out, and I wish she had. Now, I can't put all the blame on her, I mean I really should have looked into this sooner. But when? When did I have time for this? I had a lot of work. I didn't really have the time for it, although, I guess I should have made time. Too late now.

Oh well. Maybe this will be better. I will get a break from homework, and be able to focus on getting a job-hopefully one that I will be able to come back to whenever I am on break.

We shall see.

Bloggy oggy oggy

I created this blog fuh-ev-uh ago, and still only have one post. That's kind of sad. And a little embarrassing. Just kidding, kinda.

To monetize or not to monetize, hmm. You can have ads on your blog, and earn money for every click you get on them. But is it worth it? Do I want ads on my blog? I'm not sure. Do I want money? Of course, I'm a cheap college student. Why wouldn't I want money. So I guess my choice is to monetize.

What does this mean? This means you could visit my blog, say, once a day, and click on maybe three adds. Don't click on too many though, because if you do, you can mess it up. Am I asking you to click on my ads? No, merely letting you know what will happen if you do.

P.S. I do plan on actually blogging. And this time, I mean it.

First!

Doesn't it bug you when people say "first!" whenever they are the first to comment on something? Because it sure bothers me...and yet I've been tempted to do it myself. Haha, and it makes me laugh whenever two people do it at the same time.

Anyways...I've been wanting to make a blog for some time now. I came up with various names, many of which were taken...then late last night "Give Me a Penny" just came to me! I decided it was the one.

This blog will be about anything and everything. I'll share my thoughts on various topics, which could be anything from how I think the lottery is a scam to how I really like pineapples (more on those later).

Enjoy!
