To take a summer class or not to take a summer class...

That is the question.

On one hand, it would be a great idea to do so, considering it will be difficult to take all of the classes I need for my major and fit in a minor as well. On the other hand, I really don't want to take a class. I had so much work this past semester, that I just want a break. Besides, I need to get a job, and taking a class could interfere with that.

Another problem with taking a summer class is that I just found out that the only way I can be sure the credits will transfer (since I would be taking the class at a local community college, instead of the college I am currently enrolled in) is if I fill out a form and get it signed by my advisor, the Dean, and the Registrar. Until today, I was under the impression that I just had to find out if the class would count and that was it, and then have my transcript sent over after taking it, like I did for the class I took in high school. Unfortunately, I was wrong. When I talked to my advisor about taking summer classes, she never once mentioned anything about the form I need to fill out, and I wish she had. Now, I can't put all the blame on her, I mean I really should have looked into this sooner. But when? When did I have time for this? I had a lot of work. I didn't really have the time for it, although, I guess I should have made time. Too late now.

Oh well. Maybe this will be better. I will get a break from homework, and be able to focus on getting a job-hopefully one that I will be able to come back to whenever I am on break.

We shall see.
